That's handy for me

I don't have anything that will measure batttery resistance but I can work it out with this calculator.

Wow, its gettin better and better BrianG

But how does LESS gearing (on BL parameter comparison) result in LESS heat components (thinking of the motor) ?

I have a few suggestions to add. (up to you man )

HPI E-firestorm:
spur 48p: 87t,
tranny:
top drive gear 48p: 20t
idler gear 48p: 28t
diff gear 48p: 52t (diff ratio 1/1)

transmission gear ratio:
(28t/20t) x (52t/28t)
1,4 x 1,86 = 2,6

HPI Savage Flux bulletproof diffs:
29t/9t = 3.222..

If anyone know the details on above motors, its great.

Losi XXL gearing:

the output gears in the xxl tranmisssion have a 29/16 ratio
2nd gear xxl foc: 22/23*29/16 = 1,894886364
2nd gear xxl foc & swap mod: 23/22*29/16 = 1,733695652

so swapping to xxl output gears in the lst2/afershock tranny(1,89) gives almost the same reduction as the gear swap mod in the lst2 tranny(1,91)

Brian,
I see you've added these, but in the wrong order. The 'XXL 2nd gear FOC' has the 'XXL 2nd gear FOC swap mod' ratios and vv.
