No go for the R...

2.4 rocks
S did feel cheap to me
Yes Brian has a mod for 5 bats
R and S are now DSM2 but back compatable to DSM
R has 3 pos AUX for rock crawling
R has 20+ pos memory - S didn't have enough...
S Telem which I would just never use...

I too don't need that telemetry stuff. Too much to work on and not accurate. Even if it is compatible with DSM2 it still doesn't support 5.5ms. (like I'll use DSM2 receivers)

I guess you have the DX3R, is it better made? It would cost me quite more, since it would still be cheaper from the US + customs than UK. I can get the S version for 150 pounds (old one) and the R for atleast 240 euros. Rather buy some lipos for the difference.

(I don't do rock crawling)
