Definately do that! I've got an LST1 with a Plettenberg Bigmaxximum and Quark 125B on 5S LiPo with mech brakes. The LiPo is at the front, but it still makes almost-standing backflips! It's so damn overpowered!
 But just a question for you: I drove my truck maybe 2 packs, and I already broke 2 pins which are in the driveshafts, is this normal? I mean these pins:
