I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I too would keep it gas. It's not "nitro" so it falls into that special niche between the "perfect" world of BL, and the icky world of nitro.

Then again, you have a motor/ESC for it already. Don't know how you're gonna set it up so the mechanical brakes don't activate when you go into reverse (unless you disable reverse, but then you don't have reverse). And batteries are gonna be a challenge to find a setup that will give decent runtime without spending a fortune.

Either way, I'd get it. The BL/gas decision would be a little harder for me. At the very least, I'd try it on gas first and see how it works for you and decide from there.

On second thought, how is parts support? That would be a big consideration for me to get any vehicle.

IIRC that's a Carson-devil/Smartech-titan/Hurricane-c3.

I would steer clear of it. I was seriously looking at getting this truck and asked lots of people there thoughts on it and nobody could say it was a good truck, great to look at but a shit make.

The stock motor needs replacing, it doesn't have the torque or rebuild-ability of a chung yang or zenoah though it does have a tuned pipe already and they make a big difference. The radio and electronics are all base model, cheap and nasty. The cvd's need upgrading the centre diff has been a pain in the ass to people who owned one and if you go brushless I doubt it will handle the torque. Plus, the general quality of build leaves some for desire (it's a smartech).

Having said that... it is a good looking truck and I do not own one... I have a baja.
