I thought nylon lock nuts weren't supposed to need loctite? I'll try to new locknuts and see if that helps. Then if it doesn't I'll try loctite.

Let's just say hypothetically that I use loctite and it doesn't help. What would be the next thing to look at?

most people dont realise you can recycle nylock nuts.
you have to get a small round rod and using a small hammer bash the nylon compount back into the nut further.

but i use the traxxas 17mm hexes simpy cause they are cheap and the pin locks in easily.
