No, you have the right idea. A word about motor choice though: Feigaos are less efficient, which translates to higher temps at the end of the run, and some loss in runtime over a better motor. Also Feigaos tend to heat up more when pushed over 35k rpm. If gearing allows lower rpms like that while getting your target speed, then it's fine. If not, then a better motor (like a Neu) capable of higher rpms with fewer losses might be a better choice.

No matter what, 4s is gonna be strong. I think wheelspin will be the biggest problem unless you are careful with the throttle finger and/or dial in some punch control on the ESC...
