Other than that, either of those would be good choices, although I personally would opt for something with a little bit higher kv, like between 1900-2000. 1700kv on 4s is only around 25k rpm, which is fine I guess, I just prefer between 30-40k rpm on the better motors.
Mr. B.,
The smallest Pinion I can run is a 13T, and the tolerance of the fit is very tempermental between to loose of a mesh or rubbing on parts. I had to file fins off a perfectly good new NEU to get the 13T pinion on.
The 1515 1Y runs well and doesn't over heat but I inspire to have cooler temps and the lower KV should achieve this ,yes ?
I have no problem purchasing a new motor, The 1515 1Y will find it's way into another Revo anyway I just want a Lower KV mill to have some gearing options and with the lower KV motor I can run 5s also if I wish, I hope ?
The diffs are geared 43/11, If getting what I want and need requires me buying another motor I'm fine with it, I want my buggy perfect.
With this being said, would you still recomend 1900-2000 KV Mr.Brian, ?
I respect and appreciate your input and suggestions sir, after all I still have a LOT to learn.
Thank You
