Hi guys, just wanna give u something to ponder about.

I was using a yeah racing brushless system (60A esc + 6000kv motor) and the motor heated up to 60 - 65C. But when I switched over to a mamba max esc with the exact same motor, I noticed a significant increase in acceleration and speed (same gearing) but the weird thing is that the motor was running at 53C max no matter how I pushed it. I could attribute increase in power due to esc settings but can't explain y was the motor was running at a much lower temp. I did try different timings (similar range) on both escs but the mamba max resulted in a lower temp of the motor. I was told by someone knowledgeable that it is due to the switching freq of the fets on the MM that causes the lower temp.

So if one wishes to use low efficiency motors, the MM is probably a good choice. In 1/10 scale of course.
