Xbox 360 Elite question

He wants to use our older TV that is down in the basement. It is pretty big but only has a coax input.

Our 19 inch flat screen in the bedroom has RCA inputs but I don't want to give that up...

Guess he will have to buy an adapter.

I have a long ethernet cable that will reach the router. I'll just have to drill a small hole in his floor to feed in down into the basement.

Yes, so a coaxial RF adapter will be needed then. Its gonna be kinda tough to find one, as they arn't popular anymore and his picture quality is gonna be poor. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...spx?sku=802186

Wired is the preferred method as it gives the best throughput and reduce latency then even the best wireless.

By component you mean RCA plugs X 3: audio L, audio R, and video?

Is so we are in good shape. I found some kind of adapter that converts RCAs and S video to coax / S video. Wegot it to connect a portable DVD player to the TV.
