Patrick, what motors are you guys going to be pairing with the MMP? I need a 17.5t to run in the stock motor class.
But then all I will get is intelligent, well thought-out feedback.

We need some dummies for testing too!

Yeah, I guess the "dummies" would put the biggest stress on stuff (overgearing, etc.)

One question...actually two. - 10.08.2009, 11:57 PM

Does the new MM Pro make the Monster Maxx obsolete? My GTP II is nearing completion and the intent is to run 2200 on 5-6 cells. And I actually have another question...what 1/10 anything can handle 6s lipo power and remain drivable?

No, the Mamba Pro is intended for 1/10th and 1/8th buggies only -- it handles about 2/3 the power of the monster.

how much power can the Mamba Pro handle compared to the MM?

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

Operating at up to 6S, Mamba Max Pro can handle nearly twice the power of the market standard Mamba Max!
I think there was mention of the MM Pro handling 80A continuous @ 6s, so just shy of 1,800 watts is what I'm assuming. That's 1,800 watts reliably and constantly, I have no doubt that it can handle 80A+ without a hitch.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
