I have my doubts on smc stuff. I kinda look at companies, and if they cater too much towards 10th scale roar approved racing I stay away... Too much "brand name" crap there, and inflated ratings and prices to go along with it. Looking at the hyperion specs I would say that if I plan to buy new batteries those would be the ones to get. The rices are very fair, and pretty much everyone who uses them (that knows anything about lipos) says they perform very well. I may pick up a used pack or 2 and see how they do.

ya hyperions were my first choice. lots of flux guys were recommending me the SMC line. hopefully i don't have any issues. I will maybe get some new hyperions for the flux to try out, although i got cheap zippys (that everyone said would suck, lol) that are working great, knock on wood.
