Cutting out the parts were pretty easy with a cut off wheel... kept every thing wet to reduce the dust (still used a dust mask and eye protection)







Had to remove the burs with a knife before sanding



The whole thing required some serious sanding (to prevent dust, i used water on the sandpaper)

Screwing it up...



I thought these little 'flat-head' screws would work well for the carbon plates







This close up gives a good idea of the work needed on the edges... I'm going to hit them soon with some emery boards to reduce the distortion.
