5th Savage e-brushless conversion - 10.11.2009, 05:51 AM

HI guys...i DID convert my Savage XL o E-Brushless 5th scale

Today,..i run it on 6S A123 pack,..but the truck can take 12S A123 pack... will try to have 2 packs of 6S A123... and try it next sunday

Great Conversion, Great Video.... Them CEN GST wheels are sharp... But these are some big 1/8th scales.. Asis, they're almost as big as a 5th scale.. just change the bodies... Awesome.

I would stick some of the savage XL stubaxles on it to widen the track width if possible, otherwise it looks rather cool- homemade chassis plates?

this truck actually 5th scale now... samsize as baja 5b... so i would say..5th savage brushless....truck

my plan: will try to get this truck run on 12S A123....
body: i might get FG truck/stadium truck

What ESC did you use?

yes u rite.. gear stripped... coz motor has got itself all rd shaft... i just did flat it a bit..so the screw can stay ... will run full throttle next weekend....

Thank you! I thought that was the ESC.(there are few 12s capable controllers)

I wondered because I saw in the video you using the brakes. They seem to work well, is that the case?

I assumed since it's an airplane ESC that the brakes would suck.
