5s is the new 6s, its a fashion thing, all the cool guys are going this route ...

Hmm, I always thought 5s was the new 4s.

I much prefer 5s to 4s lipo, the amp draw is considerably less, and everything just seems to run alot cooler. Plus you can get away with lower spec batteries if you desire, or just not push good batts as hard (they last longer that way).
