So for you guys that are familiar with both the Muggy and the LST - How about taking an LST and putting the Muggy drive train (center diff) in it...feasible or not?? Is the Muggy bigger than the LST/LST2? I found an decent looking LST roller locally for 80 bucks - and I'm looking at a Muggy roller for 125 shipped but the Muggy looks like its not in the greatest shape.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Yes it is possible to put center diff in LST2... HERE; and they are same wheelbase, but muggy a bit lower.

After reading up on that center diff, I'm actually thinking that for long term bashing, a tranny might be a more wise choice, giving one more gearing freedom. I'm thinking that a Flux/Savvy tranny would be a fairly easy install - maybe not quite as simple as an emaxx tranny, but should be a little cheaper, considering that I wouldn't(shouldn't?) need to upgrade the Flux tranny much.

I prefer the trans over center diff. If you notice most try to put a really thick fluid in the center diff for bashing. :)

Yes, I did notice that - in addidtional to some hot motors/esc's from trying to dial in the gearing.
