Damn, and cool, all at the same time...

Im pretty sure it was the Neus that were said to run hotter than other lipos, but it was a while ago so dont take my rambling as gospel- sure someone else can chime in to either confirm or deny it. Still, I expected the Neus to work better than that- wonder what the newer ones that do higher discharge rates are like?...

I knew these 5S lipos I ran on 10S were a little damaged. But still the result is surprising. One falls a bit short compared to the other but until it does, it holds about the same voltage under load than the other. Pretty good despite what they went through Both lipos charge with no problems and all the cells end up perfectly balanced at 4.205 V.

FlightMax 3000 5S #1 (in black)
Discharge rate: 5.90 A
Starting voltage: 20.82 V
Ending Voltage: 15.00 V
Total Time: 27 min. 51 sec.
Tested Capacity: 2736 mah

FlightMax 3000 5S #2 (in red)
Discharge rate: 5.90 A
Starting voltage: 20.85 V
Ending Voltage: 15.00 V
Total Time: 30 min. 27 sec.
Tested Capacity: 2991 mah

No brain, no headaches.

So who's starting to get bored with my graphs
Here's the result of the pair of Zippy-H 5000 mah 3S 20C constant I have. They are my oldest packs but they are not the ones with the most cycles. Around 20 cycles, I didn't really keep track for those lipos as I use them more for the fun factor they give.

Zippy-H 5000 3S #1 (in red)
Discharge rate: 8.00 A
Starting voltage: 12.47 V
Ending Voltage: 9.00 V
Total Time: 35 min. 04 sec.
Tested Capacity: 4672 mah

Zippy-H 5000 3S #2 (in black)
Discharge rate: 8.00 A
Starting voltage: 12.50 V
Ending Voltage: 9.00 V
Total Time: 35 min. 34 sec.
Tested Capacity: 4738 mah

No brain, no headaches.

Last ones I promise

Graph of an old FlightMax 5000 mah 2S 20C.

FlightMax 5000 2S
Discharge rate: 10.00 A
Starting voltage: 8.45 V
Ending Voltage: 6.00 V
Total Time: 27 min. 08 sec.
Tested Capacity: 4517 mah

And to compare a Flightmax with a Turnigy. Same capacity, S count and C rating. Turnigys rock.

No brain, no headaches.
