FLM sealed diffs are NOISY! -

Hey guys just some feedback on these sealed diffs
I bought them for my Slash which already has a FLM Transmission case.
Initial impressions, No instructions, AGAIN!
Assembled, fitted, grindy grindy, the pack came with socket head bolts, not counter sunk ones and being a 2.5mm thread not ones I had readily available. Clean up the mess, reassemble etc
Spent 2 hrs shimming up making sure I was bind free etc, reassembled, hooked in a 17.5 on 2s lipo and there is a distinct whine coming from the diff area especially when rolling off power. Seems almost as if there is a pitch difference between the FLM diff and the Slash idler.
So, in conclusion? Don't bother with it.
I have it now, but in hindsight it's too little gain for too much mucking around.
Buying a spare stock diff (complete) and will slap that in when (not if) this thing fails, being in Australia, postage costs make the FLM Warranty nigh on worthless to me.
i had alot of problems with the vxl diff and went through 4 of them before i decided that the slash wouldnt hold up to 3cell with slicks for drag racing
Yeah I am about to turf this and chuck a stocker back in. Normally you'd do a Paypal not as described thing, but the issue isn't with Mike who I bought it off, it's with FLM direct, poor pitch, no instructions, socket heads to assemble (not the countersunks as pictured) and they bind so I had to get some new fasteners to assemble (and M2.5 isn't common!)
