I dont have a huge amount of faith in the axles, well, the gears specifically; they are cast metal, so will wear down alot quicker than steel gears. Thats something Im gonna find out about (durability) as I use the truck and give it a throrough bit of stick up and down banks and what-not. If the axles/gears do give up the ghost, then I will either see what I can do about replacements (Chrismechanic seems rather brilliant at making gears for his emaxx tranny in any number of materials), or I will bite a very large bullet and swap over to some 1/5 scale axles from Rc4wd.com- they have alloy madforce axles that use a 1/8 diff, or they have other 1/5 scale metal axles on their other site...

Time will tell, but I would like a fairly powerful solid axle truck, just for the sheer epicness of it
