What kind of buggy do you have? I'm sure someone around here knows the diff ratio.

It's generally accepted to gear between 30-40mph when testing a new setup. Always better to start conservatively, and speed up from there if your temps are staying within safe ranges. Having to spend another $10 on the next larger larger pinion is much less of a headache than sending in a fried ESC for warranty or having to buy a new one!

I hava a Protech phaser 4 RS. It's a pretty old one that I bought 6.5years ago. I haven't driven the buggy for 5 years. Now I wanna start again, but with a brushless setup. I'm tired of nitro :p

The thing is, there are no RC shops around here. Just 1 for planes. I was looking at HK but they only 13T, 17T and bigger pinions, I will get my lipo's from HK. My nitro engine had a 14T pinion on it.
