Just looked and my new total is $675. I plan on another $120+ on my next order...I am now a platinum member.

Is there really a membership level above platinum?

I think Linc mentioned recently he has unobtanium status or something like that. And also he's a pimp, that might be why. G's up, hoes down.

I have not had the pleasure of purchasing anything from Hobbycity just yet, but I have spent well over $20K on the R/C hobby in general over the last 4 years. Most of my purchasing powers have been spent on RCM, UE, T/H, A-Main, Casttle, R/C4WD, Fastlane, Nomadio, and even M/A once just to name a few. Considering their prices on Lipos and such I am sure that some of my money will end up in that direction soon. I try to do my best to support the local USA vendors when I can. I believe that we need to do our utmost to keep America moving in the right direction by spending our $$$ at home, even if our own Gov is not. Just my opinion...

I ended up having to charge a few last minute items for the kids since they are out of country at the moment. Still the Holiday deals were just killer.

I just got 5 packs of the 25c flavor in to boost my last bike build. It will have 12s 20ah with the extra pack, and 10ah with the standard pack.

Can't wait to finish it up and start ripping up town again.

Your bike and that reduction unit are sexy!

I have a mongoose blackcomb which is the same as one of doctorbass's bkes. I am going to talk to methods about hooking me up with a rear 9 26" 9c and the works. Just quick, what size controller should I look for with a 26" 9c@44.4v? Is a turnigy Watt meter and a gps good enough or should I go for the CA?

Hey Holms can you share some more detailed pics of your bike. It looks pretty cool, but I would like to see a little bit more. What bike is that and how did you hook it all up? Do you have a thread on your bike already? Just asking.

$300 spent there. Will make another order come spring for some 8th scale packs. Looking at the 4s 5800mah packs now. If I go down to 4s from my current 6s setup I think this is what I will be ordering.

Kyosho SC, tekin rs, D3 17.5
Hyper 9e, mmp,tekin 1900kv

i've spent over $600 there. i love their turnigy lipos and the chargers there are great for the price. i just bought 4 of the 5200mah 30c hardcase turnigy packs and they have more punch and less heat than my smc 9000mah 28c packs. i also got that one charger that goes up to 10a and 6s lipo (200w).

i love hobbycity for their cheap turnigy lipos and there batteries are surprisingly better than half of the US brands that i've seen.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
