thanks bro. my income has suffered big time with the changing economy. just threw it up on ebay, along with a bunch of other stuff recently. but i am far from out of large scale brushless. its all i plan to do in the future. in fact, i really just have my sights set on the MCD Evo 3 ultimate for a conversion maybe in the summer...i hope. but i will do a sweet conversion with the MCD at some point. check this out. just found this tonight by chance. its some nice work.

Hey, Ryu. I'm ordering a motor for my Baja 5T conversion. I saw your 1/5 truck on HBF (Nice!). I was wondering if the 2220 would fit in the 5T. Do you happen to remember the length of the motor?

P.S. Please get another build going soon. I love following your over the top project threads!

Depending on how you brace your chassis, and how your motor mount is set up, a 2220 should fit fine. I run a 2230 in my 5T.

Cool, billy. I've always heard that the 2230 was overkill and uncontrollable. Is that even slightly true?

Check my "HPI Bajas" Thread in general discussion. There are some pics of my buggy and truck in there. Think the BL truck is on the second page.

Overkill? yes, though my Bajas are not light-weight. Both of mine are over 30 pounds RTR. No "pointless" aluminum, like arms and stuff. But lots of things to make it stronger.

Uncontrollable? That would depend on your throttle finger.

Thanks, billy. I really would like to know the size and setup of Mike's Baja conversion kit.

Are the specs finalized yet Mike? Any info at all to share? Please, I'm an RC BL junkie and I need a fix! I'm jonesin' bad!
