It's a little wide and a little short for the current sc bodies. The idea of this truck is to replace 1/10th 2wd gas trucks. Until more are out there there probably won't be a class, Losi is claiming slightly quicker lap times than the buggy though, so

I can actually understand that. Like I said before, it's about the same weight/size as a buggy, but wider like a truggy without a truggy's weight. It does handle very nicely and doesn't traction roll as easily as a buggy. And, being primarily a basher, I have it sitting up a little higher than a racer would with stiffer springs. Diff oils are stock (whatever they are). Also, the wider tires helps to get good take-off traction.

I'm really liking it so far and am thinking about offloading my XT8 truggy because the smaller scale/weight takes much less power so runtime is better. I am going to do more running to see how durable it is first though.

Sounds like a serious contender for 1/10 4WD racing!! How do you think it would compare to something like a B44 Brian?

I wish Losi would refresh their 1/10 racing models, but that's another thread!!

Hmm, I might just do that. I've been wanting to informally try it on a track, but after seeing how goopy/muddy it was a week or so ago, have been avoiding it. Time to charge up my 4s packs, and maybe even a 5s pack just to see.

I really have no idea how a B44 handles to compare. Glassdoctor would probably know far better than I since he actually races.

The diffs have a really stinky grease that does resemble snot, it was not fun cleaning and filling them with silicone.

Still working ok. One of the front tires came unglued, but other than that, no problems yet. Have run 4 packs through it now.

The spur is the holdup as mentioned earlier. I will get some white spurs done this week and make the kits available in a few days. I will ultimately be making black spur gears for this truck, but in the interest of the impatient, i can offer the kits with the white spurs very quickly. The motor mounts, battery trays and chassis components are done. :)
