..well at the moment I work 55 hrs a week (2 jobs) she's not working right now, always seems to be sick, and when she has a full time job she's home sick maybe 1 day in 5-10 on average. I put all my coin in the joint account and allow myself $50 a fortnight for my hobby.

But apparantly I am the unreasonable one.

Is she bad sick or something like allergies acting up sick? Being sick on average more than once a week, IMO, she either has a chronic issue or she's a hypochondriac.

yes but you have to get alot of people to tell them they are for an extended amount of time ( thats what it took to get my GF to admit she was a hypochondriac)

Time to open a seperate acct, and put enough money in to pay the bills. Stop putting money in the joint acct and just tell her you will pay her back if she buys something you both need. Sucks to have to do this but some people just need a dose of reality. I feel like crap some days but if I do not go to work the business will fail. Blessing and a curse to own your own business, as it owns you most of the time. But it drives me to always do more and do it smarter. Tell her to get off her ass and get a job. If she feels bad tell her to get one with medical and then she can get whatever fixed... Hate to tell you to start a fight, but being nice will only make you a nice dumbass...

First off I was going with what georgec said. But after reading the above quote I would keep 'm and tell her to get a job (and work for +- 40 hours a week).
