Vaccines are a good thing. There are plenty of diseases we don't have to deal with on a regular basis because of those proven vaccines.

Do a little research on the subject. How many places you know use the same vaccine concept as US and UK? So you must think lead and mercury is good for the body. Do you know how some dideases and viruses are made? Nature born diseases and viruses I can deal with, but man made is another story. Do you know when I got the flu for the first time? After I came to the US and had to take a vaccine to get into the school.
Have you heard of places in the US and Russia that makes such viruses and diseases? Does Anthrax ring a bell? Did you know that in Newark, NJ the US had a factory that made radio active flys? It was meant to reduce the fly population in a South American country. Good stuff for sure. Why did the media stop posting deaths due to swine flu? It's cool, good things will come out of it right?
