lipo disposal ?

just had a true rc lipo puff on me extremely ! how should i dispose of it ? saw a thread on here somewhere and it was saying to " drop the lipo in salt water " is that correct ?

Hook a light bulb to it, discharge it completely, then toss it in the trash.

How old is the pack? I'd contact Dan and see if he can help you out. He takes care of his customers. I'm guessing it wasn't your fault, right?

its an old pack , got 2 of them from another member on here in a trade .
