But that's probably not why the rear shaft snapped; that's probably caused by the greater traction of those paddles. CVDs would help that a lot. No center diff, the thing would be useless with only rear paddles and a center diff. Can you say Front Wheel Drive? I was aware of the issues with different tire diameters, but I figured it wouldn't matter much in the soft sand. I mean worse case, the truck has to spin the fronts a bit faster, which shouldn't be too hard. You should have seen the truck after the back end broke. I tried driving it as a front wheel drive for a minute. Hilarious...

Here is what I have done so far.I have tried it on 4s and its awesome.WOT is not advised!I have been driving it on 2s and it is a blast.I plan to put in a alloy Motor mount and swaybars.Checked my diffs and shimmed when needed.Shimmed the axels behind the hex adapter,tightened all loose screws.The radio box does crowd the steering servo wire though.I will end up notching it.
