It's got to be a bad connection or something somewhere, or the servo itself. What's happening, I believe, is the steering servo loses power sometimes, and is stuck where it is until I jar whatever connection is broken back to working, where it returns to center. Problem is I don't have any screwdrivers small enough to start taking it apart so I can see if there's a wire that's not connected securely. If that's not it, I guess I'll purchase a steering servo for it. Then I guess it'd be just buy new electronics, hope that stuff doesn't cost much, or I could've just bought a new one.

I think I've already stripped the gearbox also. But again, I can't take it apart so I can get in and see if something's stripped, or maybe something like a setcrew came loose on a gear? Don't know what the gearbox is like on this thing yet.

Any other opinions on the lipo without lvc? If I run it until it begins to slow down, isnt' the lipo likely already low enough to possibly be damaged?
