I would try loosening the slipper first like suggested. You could get steel CVDs, but if you don't fix the true underlying problem you will just be fixing one weak point and the breakages will start happening at another point in the drivetrain. Diffs and trans gears are a much bigger PITA to replace than driveshafts.

exactly


its alot cheeper to replace the slipper pads every season, than to replace the diff or a cvd every time you take it out
