Hmm, I have 2 old dead MMs that could be handled like this...
What is proper way to go about doing this? Just mail them back with a note in the box? Also have a MMM that needs repair, are those still done free? It is the model with the bullet connectors soldered to the board.
I guess I should just make out a repair form for the MMM and mail it back, but I would like to send the MMs in for upgrade to MMpro... Need 1 to run a novak motor (yuk)
Created a non-warranty repair, clicked 'Check Out Now', then 'Process Repair'. Filled it out and put in the comments 'Upgrade from Mamba Max to Mamba Max Pro'. In talking with them via phone, they also had me write that on the invoice/rma slip that goes with the package.

+1 thzero. This will work great, the pricing will be off, but our repair people will make the appropriate adjustments. We won't charge you until we are ready to ship the replacement.
