If you want long runtimes, you have to maximize efficiency. In fact whatever you want, its better to maximize efficiency therefore your motor will run as cool as possible...
Thats mean low kV and High voltage. But the power of the motor will have a role too. If the power is too low, your motor will not have its best efficiency and will heat up fast.
For example, a 2200kV Castle is for me undersized for truggy application, you need more power. Tekin truggy motors have less power than the Castle 2200kV.
==> A Castle neu 1520 would be great with 5 or 6S, a neu 1521 would be great too.

I have to agree here! The efficiency boost can also be attributed to the extra wattage these motors can put out. These motors have to work less to get the same results as the smaller 1515 series.
I have a 1521/1Y that I will be using in my LST XXL. Should move that beat quite nicely.
Thanks guys and a lot to take in.
Looks like the Hyperion will fit in the Losi battery tray but they are tall so lucky its in a truggy.
can get the 5x cell for a reasonable price but they are very expensive compared to the ones I have got off Hobbyking..Turnigy but they only go to 5800mah.
was thinking the Tekin as they are sensored and my Hobbywing can do sensored and thought it may help on our slippery track.
if I was to go down to say a 1300 kv truggy motor..Tekin with the 5x cell 6500 mah Hyperion would I make 20 minutes and how would the power be?
Thanks.
