Me? I would be afraid to mess it up lol. Most of my stuff is somewhere in the basement where they usually stay throughout the winter. The drawing looks good and I'm sure someone will know the exact measurements.

Hey guys i have an update on the build here are some pics

It wasn't easy but i managed to shove a 1527 1Y in there. So far testing on 6s looks very promising. Next in line for future mods are motor mount mod, i need to make it a little thinner so the pinions have more shaft to bite onto, and i may also convert to 1/8th shocks as the packs get bigger and heavier. Its the only draw back from doing an all out revo build. You are eventually limited by how much sprung mass the stock shocks and springs will support.

Dude...that's a LOT of motor. So how many car lengths behind is the space shuttle when you guys race to the ISS?

They prefer shuttle lengths (they get a bit sensitive otherwise)

But seriously i just did an 8s test, and here are the temps

Speedy 130F-140F
Motor 135-145F
Packs 104F

Eagle tree says max amps was 95.78 Max watts was 2542 and maximum volt drop from 33.31 was to 26.13 and that is with flight power packs

Geared 17/44=55Mph on grass. The truck will spin the wheels at full throttle anything over half is pointless

What do you guys think is this too hot, i am always up in the air when it comes to temps, it feels hot but the gun says its not too bad. the ambient temp is 95F. I know this sounds crazy but am i under geared???? Should i run the same gearing on 6s for about 40Mph, on 8s the motor is doing 37000rpm

Tested same gearing on 6s and temps were about 10F cooler, but motor was till up around 130F. Amps were also up around 116A. Will try 8s and higher gearing, have a feeling the motor is under geared and wants to be about 18-20t. that will put speeds up between 58-65mph. if i get bad results i will run it on 6s and gear up for speed according to temps and amp data. I dont think testing on grass is giving it any help either especailly with the caliber tyres. I may have to get a set of tires that will bite into the grass better to stop the wheel spin, or try some testing on concrete

Those temps are excellent really- motor and esc are about equal meaning ( in principle ) you have a good balance & equalibriam of speed/power/gearing etc.

The voltage drop does seem too bad- if that was recorded at the start of the run then its 4.2v > 3.2v per cell; a large-ish drop but then, its a large motor..
