I use the single layer of tape on my MMM and the bracket that holds them down on the erevo. My schulze i use two velcro strips and than two straps just to make sure.

Another thought, most esc failures I believe are due to the impact from hard landings, and the longevity of my mmm could be in part due to the battery/esc trays that I have used. Both have had a semi floating esc tray at the rear of the battery tray. (Losi and Monster Mikes)

No question they fail from shock. Shock absorbtion should be a point when mounting those suckers IMO. Blown speedos suck.
