Sorry, I have the 30C so no measurements. I can hazzard a guess at why you are seeing what you are seeing though if you like.

I have a few of the turnegy 30C packs and while the cells are all the same size the pack are not all exactly the same length some are longer or shorter depending on how neatly the tabs fold up under the circuit board on the end of the pack and how the ballance wires lay, Obviously given the price of the packs they arent paying feng suei masters to spend hours getting things as neat as possible, thankfully it sounds like they are quoting the maximum length the pack can be so if you have that much room all the packs are sure to fit.

If that is true it is nice to see as I have come across a well respected company that quote the size and weight for the individual cells in the pack as the pack, so with the circuit board, wires, heat shrink the pack you order is overweight and won't fit if space is tight.

Remember this is not gospel, I wasn't going to reply as I dont have all the facts, it is just me having a guess to eleviate some of your frustration at a lack of responce.
