It came out a couple years ago, but it was a AT&T phone. One of the nicest they had when it came out, which is when I got it, but they were still selling them or a slightly different model not to long ago. It was a "smartphone" so it had ALOT of features, like Powerpoint, but it was just a plain POS.

I want the HTC Desire ... if only it wasn't so freakin' expensive
The HD2 is nice as well, but 4.3 is getting to big for my liking and I prefer Android 2.1 over WM 6.5.1.
But both hae the same resolution and hardware.
Mugen MBX6Te RCM + Mugen MBX6e RCM + Savage Flux XL FLM + MERV all with Spectrum DX3S || WTS& WTB

I finally held the Motorola Droid in my hands today, and got a quick preview, as well as the HTC Droid Eris, and HTC Hero (friends).
The Droid's slide feels very.... NOT flimsy, very tough, but all the same, very hard to slide up, I like slides that go on demand, but doesn't take much effort to do so.
Saying this, I'm still in love with the Droid, as well as the others.
Though, the Droid Eris is very nice, absolutely love it.
Next is the Nexus One.. Time to make friends with that one kid..

my motorola droid keyboard slides effortlessly and locks into place......if yours is hard to slide up then something is wrong

I have a droid, love the android phones.
The HTC desire, Nexus one, and Incredible are all basically the same hardware, all running android 2.1 (soon to be 2.2). The incredible has the sense UI added on top of it.
The droid is a 500mhz processor, less ram, but has the physical keyboard.
IMO, HTC sucked without android, but now that they can focus on the hardware and run android, they're rockin.

interesting but I have 3 questions
how does the t-mobile compare to verizon coverage wise?
how much is unlimited internet access cost at t-mobile?
and can you teather the hd2 to your laptop?

Speaking of tethering, that is a feature I love in the HTC Tilt. One of the reasons I find it hard to replace it with an android. Can anybody confirm if there are any androids out there with tethering?
BTW, my Tilt is an AT&T phone that I removed the AT&T WinMo OS and installed the generic HTC WinMo OS and it has been rock solid since. Been using it on T-Mobile since I got it about three years ago. Even run TomTom 6 with the built in GPS receiver.
