2.5 will be more than enough for the ackerman, the holes will elongate eventually though

If you make the mud guards from 2.5 like the extreme racing you'll have them for life

x2 on the mud-guards; they look pretty slick and I'm sure will be durable!

If you're doubling them up, what about some shock towers?

I think I'll go for the mudguards. I had some Lexan ones that came on my Jammin X1, so basically those can be the templates.
