I think with the performance and looks coupled with the price of 400 this will be a hot item. It will do what Traxxas does best and get people into the hobby.

No matter how you feel Traxxas is responsible for getting more people into the hobby than all the other companies combined. (opinion based on what I have seen, not a fact based on numbers I have)

I will probably purchase one as it will fit my boating needs perfectly. I don't plan on racing and a $400.00 complete package (minus batteries because I won't keep the trx ones) is perfect for my wants.

BTW, thanks for the vid PBO, it looks plenty fast for me.
