I raced my xt8 for the first time this past weekend. This was also my first time racing outdoors on dirt. I learned a lot of things and the most important thing is to bring lots and lots and lots of sunscreen!
The truck worked well, but I was unable to complete my race. I forgot to locktite the set screw on my pinion and couldn’t figure it out on time. Yah, I know…. I didn’t break anything major on the truck, but my power supply took a dump. It made a hissing noise, snap, crackle, pop, and a little puff of smoke! I just about fell out of my chair! I was thinking about getting a Bulldog 30 or 45 amp power supply as a replacement. Does anyone have a suggestion? I also need some new rear shock boots, mine ripped in half. The XRAY ones are way too short. What are people using?The slipperential and chassis conversion worked great! Thanks for making awesome products Mike! |
