The aluminum cups help out. if you runs some good size tires they will still fail. If you run alot of cells they still fail. If you run a tightslipper they fail. The best solution is the 7.5 diffs. ue or the flm hybirds. They are a lot tougher. I tore the gears out the stock a few times with the 7xl.

I can't speak for the other diffs but my UE 8 spyders had not given me a single problem. I'm very happy with them. I've run them with the HV-Maxx and now an 8XL on 5s lipo. I just opened them up recently and they still look great, clean and smooth.

thanks alot for the input. i have a good idea what im gonna do.

I do have huge tires (7inchers), i run 16 cells and have no slip whatsoever.
