Stock shocks are great, I only changed up to metal caps.

I'm using a HiTec 7955tg. By the way these trucks are just badass, four packs through it now and nothing but smiles, stock shocks fine not even one leak.

Don't know the rating of that servo, but I would use all the torque you can get with Big Joes (very heavy).

I use a HiTech 7955 (333oz/in) and it'll hold any tires I put on straight and will turn in place on rough concrete no problem.

onetoo3,

they are the hellfire AL caps these are the ones they sell, no specific ones for savage (only purple) The caps and rear hub carriers are the only things I changed to AL (and FLM XL chassis) anything else that's ever broke (few pcs) was due to a ridiculous crash. This truck is tough as a brick s*** house.

I looked and couldn't find US torque info only kg/cm and don't know how to translate to in/oz
If you did and it's close I'd say go for it!
