Yeah, I found out the hard way about the larger cups - bought the FLM bulks, and due to the lack of good description and my lack of knowledge, ended up with the wrong ones. Not sure why the larger cups make a difference in the arms though. Very convoluted, IMHO.
Can't disagree with you on how it would be nice to have it better contained. Have you looked at the Savage extension kit? It's realatively cheap - I've been running mine since the Flux was about 2 months old, and haven't suffered any ill consequences yet.
