The muggy is probably a better all around conversion.
1) Same drivetrain and suspension as the LST
2) Very easy to convert to brushless - just need one of mikes motor mounts and a battery tray.
3) Keep your extra Revo tie rods (especially the adjustable red ones). You can use those as chassis stiffeners.
4) You get the handling of a truggy and the ground clearance of a MT all in one.

If you do an LST, Losi also has their kit for it. General concensus is that you need to come up with a different battery tray for it to keep the front end down (although I have NOT read about anyone that actually used the kit as sold).
