1amp is fine, though I'd do it at .5amps if you're really worried...

Just tried charging at 1 amp for 5 mins on Nimh up to 4v. Nothing, it still sees low voltage when it does battery check for lipo balance charge for 2S . I can only charge it as a Lipo if I set it as 1S and non balance charge mode.
