Confusion confusion
 These metal rings are not metal rings but plastic rings require to use the inner bearing of the previous Traxxas axle carriers which didn't have built-in metal rings around the pivot balls. And RPM carriers don't use the same bearings so these plastic rings are useless here. I hope all is clear now !
