I only use the ziptie around the clip that connects the series adapter to the esc. It never needs to come off. The other zipties are holding battery ends of the series connector in place by the battery packs and they never need to come off either.

The retention clip is a good idea though, but I think I can do the same with twist ties. $.50 a piece is kind of high. Should be $.10 a piece.

I'm also wondering what keeps the retention clip from coming out.
