This 1717 seems to be ideal for my Flux to 5b conversion.

Very nice conversion. - 11.30.2010, 04:08 AM

Is that a 4X4 or just two wheel drive? Nice looking vehicle.

So thomas what happens to those of us who have orders in that get canseled? Are we offered an alternative option or just dropped all together? Man that will suck. I have two 1717's ordered.

Unfortunately there is no alternative option to those motors. The orders will simply be canceled, no charges will be applied; we will not cancel the entire order, we will just drop the items that are out of stock and the rest of the order will be processed normally. This sale has always been "while supplies last"; we had already removed some product before the Black Friday sale. The sales ladies will process the new orders in the order they were placed. We have less than 50 of some of the 1/8th car motors, and I expect we received more than 50 orders for some of them over the weekend. Wish I had a better answer. :(

One last thing Thomas. Will we be notified of the cancellation, or will we just have to wait and see if our credit cards are charged?

Hi.

It is normal Flux with 4wd, just extended to 560mm wheelbase so the baja5b body fits perfectly.

I ordered Friday morning and received a shipment notification yesterday afternoon.. I'm a little bummed I didn't order anther 1717 but I have a handful of 1518s coming, nothing like inexpensive replacements, no warranty but at that price you can't go wrong.

Well, fingers crossed here that the sale page will be back up soon, Friday is payday and I'd love to be able to pick up a few more motors to go with the 1518 that I got shipping info on yesterday (ordered Friday AM).

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

Ditto,
My Neu 1512 blew the front bearing and the rotor rubbed inside, Neu wanted 60.00 to repair. I'd like to just pick up a Castle 1512 1800 instead ???????

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Was there any deals on a MMP?

the brakes of my old MM stopped working, and my MMMv2 is dead.

Hope to replace MM w/ MMP

There are some MM's still up (just checked), but IIRC, you can send in your MM and upgrade to a MMPro. I think it was $70 or something like that.

We never had the MMP on the sale, just the MM. And Brian is correct, you can always send in your MM for an upgrade to a MMP for $80 + $5 return shipping.

FYI, the 1518 is sold out, we were unable to fulfill about 40 orders. We will be contacting people today and tomorrow. If you paid by credit card, we did not charge you, if you ordered by PayPal, we will be refunding the amount within 48 hours. We still have 1520's, and you will get the option to switch your order from the 1518 to another motor if you choose.
