i think he's looking at 12-14 cells for starters (i reffered him), welcome aboard.

Yes, give us more background, and we can find a good setup for you.
Also, what speeds are you looking for? Or is runtime your main target?

Hello neweuser and welcome aboard.
I have to E-Maxx's, both with the 9920/9L combo. I have never had any heat issues with mine. I guess alot of that would have to do with how many cells is run (I run 14) and what the gearing is also. But no heat issues on either of mine.
