What do you need to pay for customs?

Dutch customs:
Less than 20 euro = free
From 20 to 150 euro = 19% on top of the product value + 12.50 euro declaration costs
Above 150 euro = 19% on top of the product value + 4.8% on top of the product value and shipping costs + 12.50 euro declaration costs
That's crazy. You guys get ripped off something shocking.

Here in Australia we only have to pay if the shipment exceeds AU$1000 (shipping costs excluded). If our customs fees were anything like yours I doubt I could afford to be in the hobby.

Went to pick up my motors from the local customs office today. They didn't believe the value declared with the motors and wanted to see proof of my payment with that actual value on it.
29€ customs (for 205$ value), about 2 hours of my time, ~10l petrol (~14€ right now), but still, couldn't be happier right now
And it still is a massive bargain, not that anyone gets the idea I'm complaining or something!
And exactly what I ordered in the package. No wrong boxes, and no wrong motors in right boxes.
But boy is that 1717 a monstrosity, makes the 1518 in my g-maxx look tiny

Thank's Castle!

Oh, hell yeah! First time I opened up the box and held the 1717 in my hand I was just shocked with it's size. Friend laughed when I told him it could take his wheelchair to 88mph and then dared me to do it. . Don't know about 88mph but I think I could make it a little bit faster then what it is now. LOL
