Sounds good indeed, can't wait for the video.
Were did you get the Duh towers? Are they still available somewhere?
I could really use a set of lower shock towers.

And what axles and diff outdrives do you use?

I don't really have a way to check. Probably12.5 pounds. Somewhere between 12 and 13.

Thanks guys! I got the towers from user and community member Rivermaxx. Great guy. Has ran some good trucks. No they haven't been made in years and are hard to come by. Funny thing though. When I bought mine there was a set on Ebay. First set I've seen on the bay. I have wanted some for a whole year before I had the opportunity. Thanks River. They do rock yeah. There are some other short towers. Duh, Nova, GMaxx and one other... Can't remember. Why do you want a set?

I am using UE outdrives with TRX shafts. Great combination. Just watch how high you jack the truck especially with RPM TrueTrac. If the dog bone end comes out and can't get back in bad things happen while in motion.

Speaking of bad. I have a problem. I was having a jolly good run today when I got the RX where caught in the center diff. I ran into a very far away curb that I thought I could jump and in a rare event the RX wire got caught up in the diff and pulled apart. I'm away at school(and stink at soldering) can I just put the wires strands back together according to color, tape it up and be gentile until I can get my electrician on it around Thanksgiving? Please say yes.

Cool. River tell me what you think of the truck.

He built some great trucks indeed. I took a good look at his Silverback build while I was getting my G3 done.
And off course the whole 100MPH story made for some excellent reading

I want the lower shock towers to get the body lower on the truck, would go with shorter shocks off course.

Sorry, but what kind of outdrives are the ones from UE?
Are they regular diff outdrives?
Or are they a combination of outdrife shafts and some sort of drive cups?
I'm wondering, because I've read several times that the traxxas shafts would be too short for use with the regular 1/8 diff outdrives.
But no truetrac for me, still have my flextek arms
