Gear conservatively, watch temps, and use an external BEC.

depending on what servo he uses, he will probably not need an external BEC. switching BECs do not make much heat either. also, i think as long as you don't go crazy with the gearing, you will be fine on temps too. i've run my MMpro 1cell (no fan) in a 1/8 buggy without heat issues as long as i stayed out of tall grass. if you have a normal one that has a fan, then you should be fine. |
