I ask because I had to take off braking completely with my MMM to be able to run on 6s with no probs but sure do miss the fun that braking provides. My intentions are to run 8s all out w/brakes and to be fair it's a little more $ than a MMM but honestly if it can handle 8s bashing w/brakes than it's worth it to me. I would rather not have to dial it down to 6s just to use brakes but if that is the case knowing upfront would help me make a better motor choice from Neu.

Why not run a y-adapter off throttle/brake circuit and run mechanical brakes? (I will- FullForceRC makes the bomb brake kit, aluminum pads and a carbon fiber disk= the hot setup $30)

bashers are hardest on electronics. All out bashing will make things fail. An RCM conversion running Castle's new electronics and mechanical brakes will be my bash proof setup.
